~ Lance Bass
Ahh, Kayla, remember when…
Lance Bass, along with Justin Timberlake, Joey Fatone, J.C. Chasez, and Chris Kirkpatrick, formed *NSYNC, the “boy band” that shook the hearts of young fans around the world.
Formed in 1996, *NSYNC concerts featured ear-splitting screams and hands raised to the roof. Onstage, the group brought precision, polished choreography, and a cappella singing.
Often compared to the Backstreet Boys, both groups shared manager Johnny Wright, a connection to Orlando, Florida, and the Jive label. Before joining the group, Justin and J.C. appeared on *The Mickey Mouse Club* TV show. Joey and Chris worked as Hollywood Hi-Tone entertainers at Universal Studios.
With the 1998 #1 hit I Want You Back, the heartthrobs became international superstars, touring and singing to thousands. The follow-up smash album No Strings Attached sold 2.5 million copies in the first week of release in March 2000.
In the years since the new-millennium explosion, band members branched into solo albums, Broadway stages, and unexpected adventures, including space camp. Fans still hope for a reunion or another studio album. Since the guys remain friends, anything stays possible.
NSYNC defined a generation’s soundtrack. More than popular, the group was everywhere. Their voices lived in bedrooms and car rides. Beneath the polish lived real longing. Fans did not just listen, they belonged.
Stay dedicated to your dreams.
