August 22 ~ Make Friends With Angels
Make friends with the angels, who though invisible are always with you. Often invoke them, constantly praise them, and make good use of their help and assistance in all your temporal and spiritual affairs.”
— St. Francis de Sales

Hawaiian Angel at SunriseToday is Be An Angel Day—a celebration of spirit and service. Founded in 1992 by Jayne Howard-Feldman, this international day encourages selfless acts of kindness and spiritual presence. “Do one small act of service for someone; be a blessing in someone’s life,” she said.

With what she calls "Angel Eyes," Howard-Feldman urged each of us to see through the lens of God's light, to recognize need in our communities, and become bridges of healing and light.

Open your heart. Give freely. Let the wings of love and peace carry your spirit to where help is needed most.

Every time you show up with open-hearted joy, creativity, and aloha, you are an angel—sharing light, beauty, and purpose. When you honor another's life... you're building wings that lift others gently.

As singer Tracy Chapman observed: “I’ve seen and met angels wearing the disguise of ordinary people living ordinary lives.”

🌺 I’ve always believed that God sends me angels when I need them most. Sometimes, they look just like you and me—offering a smile, a kindness, a hand to hold.
