Happy birthday to beloved NBC Today Show weatherman and feature reporter Al Roker (1954-), born in Queens, New York.

Twice named Best Weatherman by New York magazine, Roker became a beloved fixture of morning television. In addition to delivering the forecast, he’s known for his heartwarming interviews, bestselling books, and for sharing his personal journey with humor and heart.

"I just love what I do," Roker said, "I'm lucky to be able to do it."

Jovial and upbeat, his personality is so memorable he appeared in a hilarious celebrity montage in the sci-fi comedy Men in Black (1997).
