July 3 ~ Road to Discovery
"The intellect has little to do on the road to discovery. There comes a leap in consciousness, call it intuition or what you will, and the solution comes to you and you don't know how or why."
~ Albert Einstein

So I embraced HTML. I became an advocate, coding in Notepad and loving the power of cascading stylesheets and javascripting. As I ALT-TAB between Notepad and my browser, I now "<html></html>" with the best of them. I've come a long way—but there's always further to go!

In July 2000, the web was already evolving quickly. Everyone wanted a site that was fast, accessible, beautiful—and to hit 20,000 visitors a day. But there’s so much information out there. Everyone is learning. No one is an expert. I love that. It keeps us all creative.

Where are we headed? Somewhere wonderful. And I’m grateful to share this journey with you.

Pablo Picasso put it best: “My object is to show what I have found, not what I am looking for.”

From Notepad coding and FrontPage quirks to watercolor dreams and sunrise reflections, this site has always been an act of love—of building, learning, and sharing. A quiet dare to grow. A daily leap of faith.

Today, the road of discovery continues—rooted in purpose, blooming in color. Still hand-coded. Still personal. Still a celebration.

Like the rising sun, we begin again—each day an invitation to create, connect, and shine.
