Words are energy. Kind words create warmth and make the heart soar. "By words the mind is excited and the spirit elated," explained ancient scribe Aristophanes.
As a writer, I love the process of putting words on paper with a pen or forming words on a computer screen. Whether "stream of consciousness" writing or deeply-edited, honed down to the bone, it is so satisfying to be able to capture, create reality with your own mind, heart, and hand.
Words transform others and fuel action. Words inspire. Words heal. Lord Byron said, "Words are things, and a small drop of ink falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think."
