February 27 ~  Strangers To Ourselves Light Emerging: Journey of Personal Healing

"Ninety per cent of the world's woe comes from people not knowing themselves, their abilities, their frailties, and even their real virtues. Most of us go almost all the way through life as complete strangers to ourselves - so how can we know anyone else?" ~ Sydney Harris

"Know thyself," said the ancient Oracle at Delphi.

Take an honest look at yourself. Forget what everyone else sees. Who are you when you look in the mirror, when you deeply examine your heart and mind?

Each of us is a miracle, a unique marvel. You have a purpose for being here. Only you can discover the reason for your being here.

"Look well into thyself," said ancient Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius. "There is a source of strength which will always spring up if thou wilt always look there."

Who are you really? You are the only person on earth who can answer that question. Whether it's a thousand accolades and 10 criticisms, other opinions do not define who you are. Who you are and how you define your worth--virtues, love, possessions, children, marriage, talent, education--is purely subjective. Ask yourself, "What is important?"

"Life is very simple," explained Louise L. Hay. "What we give out, we get back... Each of us creates our experiences by the thoughts we think and the words we speak."

Choose happiness, choose love, choose to celebrate life... It's up to YOU.

Celebrate the miracle of you.
